Asia in the World Fellowship Programme 2026–2027 – IIAS Postdoctoral Research Residency
The Asia in the World Fellowship Programme, offered by the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) in Leiden, Netherlands, supports outstanding early- to mid-career researchers focusing on Asia’s global connections. The 12-month, fully funded fellowship includes immersive research residencies in Leiden and one of IIAS’s global partner institutions.
Who Is This For?

Programme Structure & Benefits
The fellowship runs from October 2026 to October 2027, divided into:
